Adfam is a national charity working to help and better the life for families who are affected by alcohol and drugs. Be part of a loving and supportive family to enjoy physical and mental wellbeing because we want everyone affected by someone else's drug or alcohol use to have the chance to benefit from these healthy relationships.
Family relations and happiness can be threatened and even shatter completely due to alcohol and drug abuse.
We support frontline workers and influence decision-makers to stop this happening and also we empower family member and careers.
What We Care About
We talked with family members and frontline laborers As we know that individuals have answers if they have face or confront challenges. We get informed by our supporters: with the help of sympathy and confirmation we advice, engage, and help both the individuals who are influenced by a friend or family member's drug abuse and those who support them. So that both groups can help themselves, their peers, communities and clients, we build skills, confidence, pathways and resources.
We're Driven By What Works
The substance use impact on wellbeing and family relationships is both varied and profound. We access our work with close attention and care to what works in the real world. We've designed programs that allows individuals and institutions the opportunity for making informed choices also encourage them to drop bad habits to health and wellness progress. We depend upon the support of friends and associates for guidance and direction.
We're Committed To Fulfil Our Purpose
Our overall objective is driven by commitment and partnering with organisations which share similar sentiments towards addiction rehabilitation. We promise to treat families and individuals affected by drugs and alcohol with dignity and respect because we know that stigma and prejudice are barriers to recovery and can cause harm.
